The day, hour by hour
- 07:30
Car to the Delhi helipad
From your hotel, with the flight brief and a passenger manifest already filed.
- 09:00
Fly to Agra
About 50 minutes. The Yamuna runs below you for most of it, and you land having spent no part of the morning on the highway.
- 10:00
Taj Mahal with your guide
Two hours. Not the sunrise hour — the trade for that is not getting up at 02:30 and not spending eight hours in a car.
- 12:30
Lunch
A proper stop, at whichever level you prefer.
- 14:00
Agra Fort
Ninety minutes, including the Musamman Burj view back across the river.
- 16:00
Fly back to Delhi
At your hotel by around 17:30, with the evening intact.
Where you meet us
Your Delhi hotel, then the designated helipad
Delhi NCR; helipad confirmed in your flight brief
If you cannot find the driver
Your car and the flight brief arrive together the evening before. Give the driver the helipad name from the brief.
What to bring
- Passports for every passenger — required for the manifest and for Taj Mahal tickets
- Minimal luggage; helicopter baggage allowance is strict and small
- Sunglasses
How this is priced
Charter and bespoke work has no shelf price — the same route costs differently depending on where the aircraft is positioned that week, crew duty hours and airport slots. Tell us the route, the date, the passenger count and the real luggage, and you get a written quote naming the aircraft, the operator and everything included. No commission is hidden inside it.
If you need to cancel
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the flight. Inside 7 days, charges follow the operator's terms, which are stated in your written quote. Weather cancellations by the operator are refunded in full or rescheduled, your choice.
Questions people actually ask
Is this actually worth the money?
It buys back a day. The road version is roughly eight hours of driving and a 02:30 start; this is ninety minutes of flying and a civilised breakfast. Whether that is worth the difference is entirely a question of what your time is worth — we will not pretend the monument looks different.
Can we still do sunrise?
Not by helicopter — flights operate in daylight and the timings do not reach the gate for opening. If sunrise is the priority, drive the night before and stay in Agra. We will happily arrange that instead and say so plainly.
What happens if the weather is bad?
North India's winter fog grounds helicopters regularly between December and January. The operator makes the call; you are refunded or rescheduled. We will always offer the road alternative on the day if you would rather still go.
Is it noisy or uncomfortable?
Headsets are provided and the cabin is air-conditioned. It is louder and more physical than a jet, and about fifty minutes long, which nobody finds difficult.
How much luggage can we bring?
Very little — a small bag each. This is a day trip, and the aircraft is sized for people rather than suitcases.
Do you operate the helicopter yourselves?
No. We arrange it through licensed Indian operators and coordinate the ground ourselves, which is the part we actually run. We would rather tell you which is which.
