When the window is 48 hours instead
Where a ticket is bought in your name in advance and cannot be transferred to another traveller — the Taj Mahal is the common case — the window is 48 hours. We would rather state that plainly than surprise you with it.
Inside the window
Once inside the window we cannot refund, because the vehicle, the driver and the guide are committed to you, or the venue has released a timed slot to us that cannot be resold. If circumstances are genuinely exceptional, write to us — we read every message.
If we cancel
If we cancel for any reason — vehicle failure, a closure we should have known about, weather that makes the trip pointless — you receive a full refund, or a re-booked date, whichever you prefer.
Weather
We do not refund for weather alone, and we tell you the risk before you book: December and January fog in Agra, summer heat in the Gulf, hurricane season in Florida. An honest warning is worth more than a policy clause.
