Pick your slot carefully
Sunset slots sell out first and cost the most. The hour after sunset is nearly as good and noticeably cheaper.
- On arrival
Entrance is inside The Dubai Mall
The entrance is on the Lower Ground floor of The Dubai Mall, not at the base of the tower. Allow 15 minutes to walk there from mall parking.
- Security
Airport-style screening
Bags are scanned. Allow 20–30 minutes between your slot time and actually standing on the deck.
- On the deck
Levels 124 and 125
There is no time limit once you are up. Most people spend 45–60 minutes.
Where you meet us

If you cannot find the driver
Ask for The Dubai Mall, Lower Ground, Burj Khalifa At the Top entrance — not the Burj Khalifa tower entrance, which is for residents.
What to bring
- The mobile voucher — screenshot it, mall wifi is unreliable at peak times

Questions people actually ask
Is level 148 worth the extra money?
It is higher, quieter and includes a lounge and refreshments, at roughly double the price. If it is your only visit to Dubai and the budget allows, yes. Otherwise 124 and 125 give you the same city, the same fountain view, and more space to move around.
What is the best time to go up?
About 45 minutes before sunset. You get the city in daylight, the sunset itself, and the lights coming on — three photographs from one ticket. It is also the most expensive slot for exactly that reason.
Can I see the Dubai Fountain from the deck?
Yes, directly below on the level 124 outdoor terrace. Shows run every 30 minutes in the evening.
Do I need to print the ticket?
No. The voucher on your phone is scanned at the entrance.
How far ahead should I book?
Sunset slots in the December to March high season commonly sell out several days ahead. Off-peak slots are usually available the same day.
Is it suitable for someone afraid of heights?
The indoor deck on 125 is fully enclosed with seating set back from the glass. The outdoor terrace on 124 has a high barrier. Most people who dislike heights manage the indoor level comfortably.
